Amy and Lisa launched LUMION in August 2016 to fill a void in the skin health market. There were no effective products that helped blemishes, irritations, or inflammation that you could then continue to use everyday to maintain and improve your skin's health. LUMION uses the same molecule found in your white blood cells (HOCL) along with oxygen at the molecular level to deliver clinical strength skincare without any harsh or nasty chemicals. The idea for LUMION came when Amy had been working around the clock to open her pilates studios in Southern California when she started to notice the sweat and stress were taking a toll on her skin. Amy had developed acne and was spending way too much money on facials and products that were leaving her skin irritated and angry. At the same time Amy's father had been working on stabilizing what is now the LUMION formula. After a bit of convincing he got Amy to try it on her skin, after a few days she noticed a drastic difference in her breakouts and after two weeks her natural glow was beginning to come back. Amy's acne stayed away and she finally was able to experience the feeling of skin freedom again. Amy and Lisa met on an airplane and after discussing their mutual love for clean, natural products they knew they needed to share LUMION with the world.
