New in the shop we're carrying a few of the beautifully made Sarah's Silks products. Sarah, the founder, was inspired by her son's love to put on make-believe shows at home. He was always asking for costumes and she found he loved using her silky smooth scarves to recreate the characters in his shows, from beautiful animals to royal kings and queens. With the wings we carry - the possibilities are open and endless to your child's imagination. They can pretend to be a superhero, a bird, a fairy, a butterfly... and the fun reinvents itself every time. Often times, the simplicity of a toy wins our hearts because it encourages the child's own creativity to develop.
Besides how beautiful the silks look, they are also made entirely with natural and sustainable materials. Silk is a natural fiber and renewable resource. The dyes are non-toxic, non-hazardous, environmentally friendly, with no heavy metals. (and also easily hand-washed!) Green America recognizes Sarah’s Silks as a “Green America Approved Business” for efforts to create sustainable toys.
