Lady Lucas Art

Ashley Lucas (aka Lady Lucas) is an artist whose work features smartly dressed animals and other sweet anthropomorphic characters. She has illustrated numerous children’s books, coloring books, and other cute projects, and has collaborated with such companies as West Elm, OOLY, and Meredith Publishing. In 2018 she launched her first product line Linzer Lane in honor of her adorable son Leon Bay. Other things you might enjoy learning about Ashley:

• She was born in Lancaster, PA, and is the daughter of two artists who have always encouraged her creativity and slightly wild ideas.​
• Ashley’s work is heavily influenced by Japanese and Scandinavian style ideals like simplicity, cuteness and pared down design.
• After marrying in 2014, she spent two years living abroad in her husband’s native country of Austria.
• Her two favorite things in life are animals and children.
• She’s a vegetarian.
• Ashley lives on flavored black coffee, croissants, french fries and avocados. (Not all at the same time of course ;) )
